What Are Loss, Grief & Bereavement Circles?
Think of them as a cuppa and a chat — but with people who get it.
Loss and grief circles are small gatherings where we talk openly about the hard stuff: death, loss, grief, and everything in between. There is no fixing, no awkward “it will get better” advice — just honest connection and space to be heard.
It is not therapy. It is not counselling. It is community.

These circles give you the chance to sit with others who understand the weight you are carrying. Whether you want to share your story, or just listen quietly, there is no expectation. You show up as you are.

We talk about all kinds of grief — not just after a death.
Loss comes in many forms: relationships ending, health changes, estrangement, ageing, even grief for the life you imagined but did not get.
In a world that does not like to talk about grief, this is your place to do just that.
Real, human connection.
Practical ways to sit with grief.
No fluff. No judgement.
Who Are These Circles For?
If you are carrying grief, this is for you.
It does not matter how long it has been, who you have lost, or what kind of loss you are facing. If your heart feels heavy, you are welcome here.

These circles are for:
-
People grieving a loved one who has died
-
Those facing anticipatory grief (when a death is approaching)
-
Anyone feeling the ache of non-death losses — relationships, health, identity, pets, ageing
-
People who feel like no one really gets it
-
Those wanting to sit with others who understand, without needing to explain themselves
-
Anyone curious about grief, wanting to have honest conversations in a safe space.
You do not need to be “falling apart” to come along.
You do not need to have “the right words".
You do not need to have been through a recent death.
Grief shows up in many ways. This is a place where all of it belongs.
When & Where?
These Loss, Grief & Bereavement Circles are held every two months.
This month, we will be gathering at Self Pilates, Albury.
The exact date and time will be announced soon.
Locations and dates change regularly, depending on what feels right for the group and the space. Sometimes it is a studio, sometimes a community room, sometimes even outdoors.
