End-of-Life Doula

At Dying to Help, I provide straightforward, practical support to help ease the burden of end-of-life care. My job is to make things simpler for you and your loved ones, offering a hand when you need it most.

What I Do

I’m here for all the practical tasks that make life a bit easier during this time:

  • Grocery Runs & Restocking: I’ll make sure your pantry and fridge are sorted with all the essentials and your favourite foods.

  • Simple Meals: Preparing easy, nourishing meals so you don’t have to worry about food.

  • Light Cleaning: Keeping the house tidy and comfortable, so you can focus on what matters.

  • Errands: From picking up prescriptions to posting mail, I’ll take care of the little things.

  • Packing Belongings: When the time comes, I’ll help pack up your loved one’s things, so you don’t have to do it alone.

Emotional & Practical Support

I am also here for more than just tasks. I offer a safe space to talk, listen, and guide you through this incredibly difficult time.

  • Advance Care Directives: I will help to make sure your wishes are clear with things like living wills and power of attorney documents, and seek support to help you if you require further assistance.

  • Companionship: I will be there to sit with you, offer comfort, and make sure you and your family are not alone in this.

  • Grief Support: After your loss, I continue to offer support through grief coaching, group sessions, or connecting you with other services. Please see the other tabs on this website.

end of life doula fees

I believe in keeping things simple and transparent, so here is the breakdown of my fees for end-of-life doula services.

Flat Hourly Rate

  • $80 per hour
This covers all practical support, emotional care, bedside presence, and guidance. Whether it is a one-off visit or ongoing support, you will always know exactly what to expect.

A Complimentary “Getting to Know Me” Session

Before we talk about bookings or plans, I offer one free, no-pressure catch-up. This can be a phone call, a video chat, or even a coffee if you are local. It is a chance for you (and your family) to ask questions, see if I am the right fit, and talk through how I can help.

Travel Fees

For visits outside a 20 km radius of Albury Wodonga, a small travel fee will apply based on distance.

Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service. I accept bank transfers, credit cards, or cash. If needed, we can talk about payment plans to make things easier.

I aim to keep it all straightforward, stress-free, and human. You already have enough to think about.
